Background:

‘Tis the season for the coldest trap battle ever; a battle so cold, it’s “Icy”! This faceoff is between two Atlanta-based pioneers of trap music and arch nemeses: Gucci Mane and (Young) Jeezy. Platinum recording artist Jeezy the Snowman hit the scene with an independent album in 2001. He did a brief stint with Bad Boy Records and then continued to "Put On" for his city with Def Jam where he released a studio album almost every year since 2005, and hasn’t stopped yet. With as many collaborations as controversies, Gucci Mane La Flare, the East Atlanta Santa also started making hits in 2005; and with more than 70 mixtapes and 13 studio albums, there’s no end in sight!
