Born in the Yellow River 'burbs next to Shaloin, LayLo honed his craft in the shadow of the 36 Chambers. Over the years, he has had many masters who have taught him different styles of hip-hop. LayLo takes the unique qualities of each hip-hop style and combines them into something uniquely his own. Lyrical rap, battle rap, conscious rap, thuggish ruggish rap, gangsta rap, mumble rap, hyphy rap, introspective rap, funny rap, and the art of intergalactical metaphors from Mars all blend together into a style both unique and familiar.
